Baked Brie Bites with Apricot Jam

Ingredients

The pastry

  • 2 sheets puff pastry

The filling

  • ½ wheel brie
  • cup apricot jam
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 splash whole milk
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  2. Cut the brie into small wedges and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  3. For larger bites, cut puff pastry into rectangles, brush with egg mixture, and place a popsicle stick in the center.
  4. Add brie and apricot jam on top, cover with another pastry rectangle, and seal the edges.
  5. For smaller bites, cut the pastry into smaller rectangles, add a slice of brie and jam, cover, and seal.
  6. Place on a baking sheet, brush with egg mixture, and sprinkle with sea salt.
  7. Bake for 12-20 minutes until golden brown and cool slightly before serving.
