Instructions
- Prepare the apples by washing and drying them thoroughly.
- Insert a stick into the top of each apple.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and cream, and cook over medium heat.
- Stir until the mixture reaches 236°F (soft ball stage).
- Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla extract.
- Dip each apple into the caramel, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place dipped apples on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool.
