Homemade Caramel Apples

Instructions
- Rinse and dry the apples, removing any waxy coating.
- Insert a stick into each apple.
- Prepare a baking sheet with a silicone mat or grease it.
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, butter, and salt over medium heat.
- Stir constantly until the butter melts, then let it cook without stirring until it reaches 235°F (113°C).
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and let cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Dip each apple into the caramel, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place the coated apples on the prepared baking sheet and let them set for about 45-60 minutes.
