Ingredients

The Broccoli

  • 4 cups broccoli florets

The Seasoning

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

The Garnish

  • 3 tablespoons finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste lemon wedges (optional garnish)

Miscellaneous

  • as needed cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F and coat a sheet pan with cooking spray.
  2. Place the broccoli florets in a gallon-sized freezer bag with olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Seal the bag and shake to coat the broccoli evenly.
  4. Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the sheet pan.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parmesan and parsley, then drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
