Cherry Chocolate Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 10 pieces pitted medjool dates (or 20 deglet dates)
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 2–3 tsp water
  • a pinch fine sea salt
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine dates, almonds, cherries, and sea salt in a food processor and process until crumbly.
  2. With the processor running, gradually add water until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. Turn off the processor and stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Roll the mixture into balls or press into a lined 8x8-inch pan.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
