Spiced Pumpkin Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons canned pumpkin or cooked pumpkin puree
  • 1 medium fresh orange, peeled and quartered
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup plant-based milk (i.e. soy or almond)
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
  • 2 pieces ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend for about 2 minutes until very smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into 2 (10-ounce) glasses.
