Homemade Tomato Sauce

Instructions
- Preheat the oven and roast the garlic for 45 minutes.
- Sauté the chopped onions in olive oil until translucent.
- Add red wine vinegar and chopped tomatoes to the pot, cover, and steam for 8 minutes.
- Stir in salt, pepper, oregano, parsley, and squeeze in the roasted garlic.
- Reduce heat and simmer the sauce for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Blend the sauce until smooth and stir in chopped basil.
- Allow the sauce to cool before serving or storing.
