Easy Shrimp Scampi

The sauce

Dry white wine (or chicken broth)

Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add shallots, garlic, and red pepper flakes; sauté until shallots are translucent.
- Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until slightly undercooked; remove and set aside.
- Deglaze the pan with wine or broth, scraping the bottom, and simmer until reduced by half.
- Stir in butter and lemon juice; return shrimp to the pan and simmer until fully cooked.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary and stir in parsley before serving.
