Ingredients

Shrimp Marinade

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 1 tsp Diamond Crystal kosher salt
  • 1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Cooking Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup dry white wine
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • to taste warm crusty bread (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine grated garlic, salt, and olive oil in a bowl, add shrimp, coat, and chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet, cook shrimp until pink but slightly underdone, then remove from skillet.
  3. Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, cook until fragrant.
  4. Pour in white wine and lemon juice, reduce by half, then add butter and stir until melted and thickened.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet, cook until fully done, garnish with parsley, and serve with bread.
