Garlic Bread Avocado Toast

The garlic butter

garlic, minced
The avocado topping

ripe avocados

fresh lemon juice

black pepper

crushed red pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Mix together the butter and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Spread the garlic butter generously over each slice of bread.
- Place the slices on a large baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until the butter is melted.
- Turn the oven to broil and broil for 1-2 minutes until the bread is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the slices cool slightly.
- In a medium bowl, combine the avocados and lemon juice, then mash together.
- Top each slice of garlic bread with the mashed avocado.
- Season with sea salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
