Ingredients

The corn

  • 4 to 8 ears fresh corn

Toppings

  • to taste Butter
  • to taste sea salt
  • to taste lemon or lime wedges
  • to taste red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
  • ¼ teaspoon lime zest
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ cup softened unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. For the husk-on method, pull back the husks of the corn and remove the silks, then soak the corn in cold water for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Place the soaked corn on the grill and cook, turning every 3 to 5 minutes for about 15 minutes.
  4. For the husked method, remove the husks and silks, then grill the corn directly for about 15 minutes, turning regularly.
  5. Serve the corn with your choice of toppings.
