Ingredients

The corn

  • 8 ears corn, husked

The butter

  • 8 Tbsp plain butter or seasoned butter

Seasoning

  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Garlic Parmesan Butter

  • 8 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp dried Italian seasoning

Herb Butter

  • 8 Tbsp butter, softened
  • Tbsp fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 Tbsp fresh chives, minced
  • tsp garlic powder

Chili Lime Butter

  • 8 Tbsp butter, softened
  • tsp chili powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp fresh cilantro, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 450°F) and clean the grates.
  2. Husk the corn, removing all outer leaves and silks.
  3. Place the corn on the grill with space between each ear.
  4. Cover the grill and cook the corn, turning every 2-3 minutes for about 8-12 minutes until charred and tender.
  5. Roll or spread butter over the hot corn and season with salt.
  6. For flavored butters, mix the ingredients for each butter variety in separate bowls and serve with the corn.
