Ingredients

The corn

Instructions

  1. For the husk-on method, peel back the corn husks and remove the silks, then soak the corn in cold water for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and pat dry the corn, then preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the corn, turning every 3 to 5 minutes, for about 15 minutes until cooked.
  4. For the husked method, shuck the corn and remove the silks.
  5. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat, then grill the corn, turning every 3 to 5 minutes for about 15 minutes until light char marks form.
  6. Serve the grilled corn with butter, salt, and pepper.
