Ingredients

The guacamole

  • 3 pieces ripe avocados
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 pieces limes (zest and juice)
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper (diced)
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin (optional)

Optional mix-ins

  • 1 to 2 pieces Roma tomatoes (seeded and diced)

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients by peeling and pitting the avocados, and finely dicing the onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
  2. Combine the avocados, onion, cilantro, lime zest and juice, jalapeño, salt, and cumin in a large bowl.
  3. Mash the ingredients together until combined but still a bit chunky.
  4. If using, fold in the diced tomatoes.
  5. Season to taste and serve.
