Ingredients

The guacamole

  • 2 large avocados, ripe
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or grated
  • cup onion, finely diced
  • cup bell pepper, finely diced
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • a pinch cayenne
  • ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • a dash pepper
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime juice

For garnish

  • 1 slice lime wedge
  • as needed jalapeño slices
  • as needed fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Peel the avocados and remove the pits.
  2. Score the avocados into squares using a knife.
  3. In a bowl, mash the avocados with a fork or potato masher.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well to combine.
  5. Garnish as desired and serve with veggies or chips.
