The bread bowl
Instructions
- Remove the skin from the red snapper, season with salt and black pepper, and pan fry for 2 minutes on each side.
- Chop celery, red bell pepper, and green onion in a food processor, then add basil and parsley and chop together.
- Cut the cooked fish into small chunks and place in a large bowl with cream cheese.
- Add all remaining ingredients to the bowl, reserving ½ cup of Monterey Jack cheese for topping, and mix until smooth.
- Cut the top off the bread loaf and remove the inner dough to create a bowl, then fill with the fish mixture and top with remaining cheese.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and bake for 15 minutes, then serve immediately.
