Ingredients

The beets

  • 3 pieces beets
  • 2 lbs beets

The cooking liquid

  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash the beets thoroughly to remove dirt.
  2. Cut the beets into wedges and then halve them.
  3. Place the beets and water in a baking dish with a lid.
  4. Cover the dish and cook at 375°F for one hour until fork tender.
  5. Garnish as desired and serve.
