Instructions
- 1. Combine sugar and orange juice in a medium pan over medium-high heat until it simmers.
- 2. Add cranberries, orange zest, and salt, then simmer for 8-10 minutes until the cranberries burst.
- 3. For a chunkier sauce, add ¾ of the cranberries first, then stir in the remaining ¼ after they have burst.
- 4. Allow the sauce to cool at room temperature before transferring it to a container and refrigerating until ready to serve.
