Ingredients

The pasta

  • 1 package gluten-free spaghetti (16 ounces)

The sauce

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions.
  2. While the spaghetti cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
  5. Transfer the cooked shrimp and garlic to a serving plate.
  6. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the shrimp and garlic.
  7. Mix in lemon juice, salt, and pepper, then toss to combine.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
