Instructions
- Prepare the dough by whisking warm milk, yeast, and 1 Tablespoon sugar together, then let it sit until foamy.
- Add remaining sugar, egg, butter, salt, herbs, garlic powder, and 1 cup of flour to the yeast mixture, mixing until combined.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it is soft and slightly sticky.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces, shaping each into a ball.
- Arrange the rolls in a greased skillet or baking pan and let them rise until puffy, about 45-60 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Bake the rolls for 23-27 minutes until golden brown, brushing with melted butter and sprinkling with sea salt after baking.
