Ingredients

The Avocado Tuna Salad

  • 20 oz. white Albacore Tuna, canned in water
  • 2 large avocados, pitted and chopped
  • ¼ large red onion, sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh chopped cilantro

The Dressing

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2.5 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper

The Sandwich

  • 6 whole wheat everything bagels
  • 12 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 3 cups alfalfa sprouts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the avocado tuna salad by mixing the tuna, avocados, red onion, cilantro, and dressing ingredients together.
  2. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on each bagel.
  3. Add alfalfa sprouts on one side of each bagel.
  4. Spread the avocado tuna salad on the other side of each bagel.
  5. Top the bagel with the sprout-covered side and serve.
