Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉ (177℃).
- In a small bowl, mix the mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, sour cream, and eggs.
- Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla to the wet mixture and mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, orange zest, and salt) to the wet mixture and mix until fully combined.
- Pour in the melted butter and stir until fully incorporated.
- Grease an 8x4 or 9x5 loaf pan.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and spread evenly. Optionally, mix in chocolate chips or top with nuts.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, checking at 30 minutes if using two pans, until a cake tester comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
