Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground clove
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • ¾ cup pumpkin puree
  • cup maple syrup
  • cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Add-ins

  • cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients together.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk the wet ingredients until smooth.
  5. Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients and mix well.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread rest for 10 minutes before serving.
