Instructions
- Mash one banana into a puree and whisk it together with milk, eggs, vanilla, and salt until blended.
- Place 4 slices of bread on a cookie sheet and add banana slices to each, keeping them about ½ inch from the crust.
- Top each with another slice of bread to form sandwiches.
- Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture for 3-4 seconds until fully immersed.
- Place the sandwiches on the waffle iron and cook for 4-6 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the sandwiches from the waffle iron and place on a serving dish.
- Spread Nutella on top of each French toast and top with pecans and sliced strawberries.
- Serve immediately.
