Feel Good Vegan Hot Chocolate

Chopped dark chocolate (or store-bought // or cacao powder)
Instructions
- 1. Add 1 inch of water to a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- 2. Place a glass or ceramic bowl on top and add cocoa butter, cacao powder, carob powder (if using), and ½ cup of coconut milk.
- 3. Whisk occasionally until melted and well combined.
- 4. Remove the bowl from heat, discard remaining water, and transfer the mixture to the saucepan.
- 5. Add cinnamon, maca powder, sea salt, maple syrup, and the remaining coconut milk.
- 6. Whisk to combine and cook over medium heat until it begins to bubble.
- 7. Taste and adjust flavors as needed.
- 8. Serve in mugs and top with optional coconut whipped cream and chocolate or cacao powder.
