Instructions
- Prepare the dough by whisking together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy, then add the egg and vanilla.
- Mix in the dry ingredients until combined, adjusting with more flour if necessary.
- Divide the dough and roll each portion into a rectangle, then spread melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
- Roll each rectangle tightly into logs and chill for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven and slice the chilled logs into ½ inch thick cookies.
- Bake until lightly browned, then cool before icing.
- Mix icing ingredients and drizzle over the cooled cookies.
