Ingredients

The porridge

  • 1 cup raw buckwheat groats
  • 3 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 piece ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

The topping

  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Rinse and drain the buckwheat groats until the water runs clear and add them to the Instant Pot.
  2. Add almond milk, banana, and cinnamon to the pot and stir to combine.
  3. Lock the lid and set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  4. After cooking, allow a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, then use quick release for any remaining pressure.
  5. Stir in the maple syrup, serve in bowls, and top with chopped walnuts.
