Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, heat buffalo sauce and butter until melted and stir until smooth.
- Place chicken in a baking dish and brush with a thin layer of the buffalo sauce mixture.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 22-27 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 155°F (68°C).
- Remove the foil, brush with remaining buffalo sauce, and top with blue cheese.
- Return to the oven uncovered for 2-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the chicken reaches 160-165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving, topped with sliced green onions.
