Ingredients

The chicken

  • 4 oz Boneless skinless chicken breasts

The seasoning

  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

The sauce

  • ½ cup Buffalo sauce
  • ¼ cup Unsalted butter

The toppings

  • ½ cup Blue cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 medium Green onion (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, heat buffalo sauce and butter until melted and stir until smooth.
  4. Place chicken in a baking dish and brush with a thin layer of the buffalo sauce mixture.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 22-27 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 155°F (68°C).
  6. Remove the foil, brush with remaining buffalo sauce, and top with blue cheese.
  7. Return to the oven uncovered for 2-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the chicken reaches 160-165°F.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving, topped with sliced green onions.
