Instructions
- Put the chocolate chips in a heat-resistant bowl.
- Heat the heavy cream, butter, and powdered sugar in a pot until steamy.
- Pour the hot cream mixture over the chocolate chips and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Whisk until smooth, then add vanilla and brandy.
- Let cool, cover, and refrigerate until firm.
- Scoop the firm ganache onto waxed paper and roll into truffles.
- Roll the truffles in your choice of coatings if desired.
