Ingredients

  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Rinse the kale under cold water and remove the stems.
  2. Roll the leaves and slice them into thin ribbons.
  3. Use a salad spinner to remove excess water from the kale.
  4. Transfer the kale to a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Add salt, garlic, and lemon juice to the bowl.
  6. Gently massage the ingredients into the kale with your hands.
  7. Enjoy the salad as-is or add your favorite toppings.
