The Dressing

Instructions
- Prepare the kale by washing, drying, and cutting it into small pieces. Massage with olive oil and lemon juice until tender.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining olive oil, lemon juice, honey, cumin, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- Drizzle the dressing over the massaged kale and add the minced shallot. Toss to combine.
- Prepare the pears by washing, slicing in half, and removing the seeds. Drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Top the dressed salad with goat cheese, candied pecans, cranberries, and chopped pears. Toss to combine and serve.
