The Salad

romaine lettuce, chopped or torn

shaved Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the bread into cubes and toss with olive oil and salt, then spread on the baking sheet.
- Bake the croutons for 10 to 18 minutes until golden brown and crisp, then set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and adjust the consistency with water if needed.
- In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, half the dressing, half the croutons, and half the cheese, tossing to coat.
- Add more dressing as desired, then top with the remaining croutons, cheese, and pepper before serving.
