Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cube beef bouillon
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and cook for about 30 minutes until brown.
  3. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, beef bouillon, and beef stock.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and whisk until thickened, about 1 to 2 minutes.
