Slow Cooker Sesame Chicken

The sauce

Instructions
- 1. Pan-fry the chicken in a skillet, skin-side down, until both sides are nicely browned.
- 2. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl and stir to combine well.
- 3. Arrange the chicken in the slow cooker and pour in the sauce.
- 4. Turn the heat to high and cook for 3 hours.
- 5. Remove the chicken to a serving platter, garnish with sesame seeds and scallions, and serve immediately.
