Honey Sriracha Salmon

Ingredients

The salmon

  • 8 oz salmon fillet
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

The glaze

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Mix all the Salmon Glaze ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the salmon with the Salmon Glaze for 30 minutes, or preferably overnight.
  3. Remove the salmon from the container, reserving the marinade. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the sesame oil.
  4. Cook the salmon skin side down until browned, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook the other side until browned, about 2 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, pour in the reserved marinade, cover, and cook until the fish is cooked through, about 3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.
