Instructions
- Combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl or zip-top bag.
- If using breasts, fillet them into two thinner pieces; otherwise, leave thighs whole.
- Place chicken in the marinade, ensuring it is fully coated, and marinate for 30 minutes to 8 hours in the refrigerator.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken pieces for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- Avoid overcrowding the skillet; cook in batches if necessary.
- Discard excess marinade and let the cooked chicken rest for five minutes before slicing and serving.
