Ingredients

The chicken

  • 4 oz Boneless skinless chicken breasts

The seasoning

  • 2 tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • ½ tsp Dried thyme
  • ½ tsp Dried oregano
  • ½ tsp Dried rosemary
  • ½ tsp Dried parsley

The cooking fats

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted butter

The sauce

  • ½ cup Chicken broth, reduced sodium
  • 5 cloves Garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and dried herbs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until golden and cooked through.
  3. Transfer the chicken to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  4. Add butter and chicken broth to the skillet, scraping the bottom to deglaze.
  5. Reduce heat to low, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan, flipping to coat in sauce, and heat if necessary.
  7. Serve the chicken with the pan juices spooned over it.
