Instructions
- Prepare the grill with Cowboy Hardwood Lump Charcoal and light it.
- Divide the hamburger meat into 4 equal portions and form them into balls.
- Flatten each ball into a patty using a saucepan lid and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Once the grill is hot, place the burgers on the grill grate and cook undisturbed until browned, then flip and add cheese on top.
- Cut the French bread into 5-inch lengths, slice in half, and flatten slightly.
- Layer each piece of French bread with 2 patties, lettuce, onions, tomato, and pickles. Add ketchup and mustard, slice in half, and serve with potato chips and pepperoncinis.
