Beer Brat Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 package Johnsonville Bratwurst Sausages
  • 1 12 ounce bottle beer
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

Instructions

  1. Cook the bratwurst sausages in the Sizzling Sausage Grill until done.
  2. In a pot over medium-high heat, combine the beer and brown sugar and bring to a boil.
  3. Lower the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the mixture is reduced and thickened.
  4. Whisk in the Dijon mustard until smooth.
  5. Mix the cornstarch with cold water, then add to the beer mixture and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thick.
  6. Slice the sausages into 1-inch pieces and add them to the sauce, tossing to coat.
  7. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
