Instructions
- In a large pot, combine brats, onion, and beer; bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes until brats are cooked through.
- Preheat the grill over medium-high heat, clean and oil the grate, then reduce heat to medium and grill the brats, turning frequently, until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Serve the grilled brats in buns with your favorite toppings.
