Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- 2. Boil water in a large stockpot, add the potatoes, cover, and cook until fork-tender, about 20 minutes.
- 3. Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil and cooking spray.
- 4. Place the cooked potatoes on the baking sheet and gently press them down to about 1-inch thick.
- 5. Brush the tops with melted butter or olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- 6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
- 7. Remove from the oven and add desired toppings. Serve warm.
