Ingredients

The potatoes

  • 2 lbs potatoes

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine the seasonings in a small bowl and whisk together.
  3. Rinse the potatoes in cold water and pat them dry.
  4. For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes.
  5. Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise, then into quarters, and finally into wedges.
  6. Toss the wedges in a large bowl with olive oil and the seasoning blend.
  7. Arrange the seasoned wedges cut side down on a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, until golden brown and easily pierced with a fork.
