Spice-Roasted Potato Wedges

Ingredients

The potatoes

  • 3 pieces russet potatoes

The seasoning

  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅛–¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • to taste Kosher salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Cut the russet potatoes lengthwise into 8 wedges each.
  3. In a large, foil-lined baking sheet, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Season the potatoes with kosher salt and black pepper.
  5. Roast the potatoes in the oven, turning once, until they are golden brown and crisp, about 25 to 30 minutes.
