The sauce

easy pizza sauce or marinara sauce or one 32-ounce can whole tomatoes, drained and crushed by hand

thin, 1-inch strips roasted red pepper (from about ½ medium roasted red pepper)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 500°F with a rack in the upper third of the oven.
- Prepare the pizza dough through step 5.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the pizzas and sprinkle with dried oregano.
- Divide the toppings evenly over the two pizzas, starting with mozzarella, followed by roasted red pepper, artichoke, olives, and feta.
- Bake the pizzas on the top rack until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly, about 12 minutes.
- Transfer the pizza to a cutting board, sprinkle with torn basil and red pepper flakes, slice, and serve.
