Ingredients

Homemade Brownies

  • ½ cup salted butter
  • 8 ounces coarsely chopped semi-sweet chocolate
  • cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Peanut Butter Frosting Layer

  • ½ cup salted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1–2 cups confectioners’ sugar

Easy Chocolate Covered Pretzels

  • 25 pieces mini pretzel twists
  • 2 ounces Bakers semi-sweet melting chocolate bar

Instructions

  1. Melt the baking chocolate for the pretzels in the microwave and coat the pretzels, then chill.
  2. Preheat the oven and prepare the baking pan.
  3. Melt butter and chocolate, then cool to room temperature.
  4. Mix in sugar, then add eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition.
  5. Fold in flour and salt, then pour the batter into the pan and bake.
  6. Prepare the peanut butter frosting by mixing butter and peanut butter until smooth, then add confectioners’ sugar.
  7. Once the brownies are cooled, frost with peanut butter frosting and top with chopped chocolate pretzels.
  8. Refrigerate until the frosting sets, then cut into squares and enjoy.
