Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet mixture until well incorporated.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop the dough by 1-inch balls onto an ungreased or lined baking sheet.
- Gently press a crisscross pattern on top of each cookie with a fork.
- Bake for 6-8 minutes until the edges are set and the bottoms are lightly browned.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
