Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Cream the butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter together using a stand mixer for at least two minutes on high speed.
- Add the egg and mix slowly, then add the vanilla and maple syrup one at a time, mixing until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture on low speed until fully mixed.
- Fold in the chocolate chips with a rubber spatula.
- Spoon out dough portions of about 2 tablespoons each and form into balls.
- Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about ten minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Serve warm or store in an airtight container for up to a week.
