Ingredients

Dough

  • 6 ounces water
  • ¾ cup honey
  • 10 ounces all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Topping

  • cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg beaten egg

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9” springform pan by brushing it with butter.
  2. Pour water into the bread machine and add flour, honey, yeast, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Process the mixture on the dough cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll it into a 16” log.
  5. Cut the log into 16 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  6. In a bowl, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, salt, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese.
  7. Dip each dough ball into the butter mixture and arrange them in the prepared pan.
  8. Drizzle any remaining butter on top and let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and between the rolls, then let it rise for another 60 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 350°F, brush the top with the beaten egg, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before serving warm.
