Ingredients

Popcorn Base

  • ½ cup organic popcorn kernels

Topping

  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Pop the popcorn using your preferred method.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Place the popped popcorn in a large roasting pan and pour the maple syrup mixture over it, stirring gently to coat evenly.
  5. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes until it starts to brown slightly.
  6. Cool the popcorn on a wire rack.
