Instructions
- Prepare the beef topping by mixing soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and water in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, add ginger until fragrant, then add the thinly sliced beef.
- Once the beef changes color, add the sauce mixture and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- For the udon soup, combine dashi stock, mirin, soy sauce, sugar, and salt in a pot and bring to a boil.
- In a large pot, boil water and cook the udon noodles until done, then drain.
- Place the cooked noodles in a serving bowl, pour the udon soup stock over them, and top with the beef, naruto, and scallions.
